Hedgehogs' Class travel back in time.
Date: 6th Sep 2022 @ 9:19pm
Hedgehogs' Class were transported back in time today, to see how we could have travelled in the past.
A time machine was delivered yesterday. Mrs B followed the instructions carefully to make the machine, however there were a few parts left over when she'd finished!
We wanted to travel to the future so that we could go shopping in a fast car but the machine took us back in time to the 1800's - oops! Mrs B's car had changed into a pony and trap. We loved meeting Chance the pony and we learnt how it felt to travel by this unexpected mode of travel. It was a bit bumpy, but lots of fun.

This week, Squirrels and Badgers have been travelling over to Bunbury for their swimming lessons. The children have adored it. For some, they were anxious about getting in the water, but with a little encourage they went in. Others were so excited as they adore swimming. The children have said that they prefer swimming every day for a week rather than going once a week, as they can see how much progress they are making. They have all let their lights shine brightly.

What a fantastic finish to our term we have had today. Amelia’s Aunt and cousin are visiting from Australia and came to Otters today to be our mystery readers. They answered lots of questions about what Australia is like including how long it takes to get to England, what the weather is like and what animals are there. Thank you again to them both.
