You Can Find Me!

“When I consider your heavens, the work for your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place, what is man that you are mindful of him, the son of man that you can care for him?’

Proverbs 8:3-4

It’s important that we all take time to stop and rest.The perfect place to do this is outside where we can sit and reflect.We spent some time in our woodland area with Reverend Paul and Mrs Archer just listening and appreciating the amazing world God created for us, before creating some master pieces from things we found in the woodland.

God is constantly speaking to us.He doesn’t always use words.Day after day, he paints amazing sunsets across the sky to show us His power and glory.He strokes our cheeks with a gentle breeze to remind us that He is right beside us.He speaks in the faces and voices of our loved ones.

We can find God in every minute of the day – if you have eyes that are looking and ears that are listening.To develop our spirituality, we all have to learn to take time to stop, and ask God’s Spirit to help us see and hear Him better.

Our forest church session helped the children and adults to practice looking and listening for God in the world around us, so that we will all be able to see and hear Him more, especially in times of need.We were reminded that we need to search for God with all our hearts – and we will find Him.
