Yipeee - We will be welcoming back all of our children on Monday 8th March!
Date: 23rd Feb 2021 @ 8:29pm
We can’t wait to reopen our doors to all of our wonderful children on Monday 8th March. We have really missed each and every one of you.
Parents will receive a letter tomorrow confirming the arrangements - most of which you will already be very familiar with.
There is a glimmer of hope in the air tonight - one day, hopefully very soon, we will be able to pop our bubbles and be together as a whole school once again. Sharing the same drop off times, chatting in the playground before the children start school, seeing friends from other classes at playtime, looking after our buddies, singing together as a whole school - the list goes on and on. One day soon.

This morning the air was full of anticipation – which of our talented Year 6 children will be our new head pupils? Who has been chosen to lead our eco council? How is organised enough to be a librarian? What about the house captains? Before I announce the result, I would like to thank all of you who took the time to vote – an impressive thirty-six of you. The children and staff also had the chance to vote. Our new Head Pupils of Warmingham CE Primary are …. Anna and Amelie. Well done girls.
As you can see from their smiles, they are over the moon. It takes a lot of guts to put yourself forward for a public vote, prepare a speech and perform your speech in front of others, knowing that you might not be successful. I was impressed that all of the other candidates were quick to congratulate the Anna and Amelie. Hattie and Iesha are our new librarians, Anna and Lucas are our eco captains, George is the new house captain of Sycamore, Alena is Birch house captain, Oak House will be led by Tyler and Alena is our the new house captain of Birch. Our house captains are going to be leading all of our inter house events from quizzes to sports competitions. Anna and Amelie have their first official role next week, when they led our Harvest Service next Friday.
